Blessings Arrived Under The Door

Yippee!  Praise the Lord!

Today is a great and exciting day.  After eight years of hearings and legal requirements and agonizing while waiting, a response to the final hearing finally appeared under our garage door.  In plain English this means Jennifer Fowler Ramirez is officially our daughter!

This was a resolution to a hearing that took place well over one year ago.  We first met Jennifer when she was 5 and started the process to adopt her.  Even to get her to finally live with us and we being legal guardians took over two years.  After two more years we could make the legal processes for the final adoption and even this took over three years.

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers during this whole time.  We are rejoicing and praising God for His greatness.  Next week or maybe two we can apply for her new birth certificate with our last names.  But we have the official paper from the judge so it is final and will just be a matter of changing her identification card.

By the way we are having a wonderful time of ministry with a group from Midlothian Bible Church from the Dallas area.  On Wednesday another group gets in from Frontier School of the Bible.  We will keep you informed.
