Earthquake in Tarapoto, Peru!

Dear Family and Friends,

Psalm 46:1-3, 10-11 ”God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore, we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.  Selah

Early this morning we were awakened by a great shaking!  Yes, the house was moving back and forth.  Generally speaking, everything is great and life will continue without much alteration.  Evidently the earthquake shook the water tank so it is running over and water is spilling into our bathroom.  We have shut the water off and it continues to drip so that seems to be the worst of the damage for us.

Now that we have your attention, I will add that the Doctrine classes went great and now we have two conferences in June to prepare for.  The first weekend we have a marriage conference in a small village and then the last weekend we go to Lamas for a Time and Money Management retreat.
