Our Vision:
We have a vision for a healthy, grace-oriented, and disciple-making church to be established in Montpelier, ID. Our further desire is that Hope Bible Church will be a place that will help train future church leaders. We are excited to partner as a “sister-church” with The Village Church in Garden City, UT as together we seek to reach the entire Bear Lake Valley for Jesus Christ.
Our Bio’s:
Bill grew up as a missionary kid in Utah from the age of twelve until graduating from High School. His parents were early TBM missionaries and have been used of the Lord to start three churches in Utah and Idaho. Bill attended Frontier School of the Bible and graduated in 1993. He started his pastoral ministry in Nebraska and then became pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Lindon, UT. This was a church his father started and the one he grew up in as a teen.
While pastoring at Fellowship Bible Church, Bill was introduced to Laura who was in her final year of study at Frontier.
Laura grew up in a suburb of Denver, CO and had felt the call of God to be a pastor’s wife at an early age. She moved to Scottsbluff, NE during her Senior year of high school and heard about Frontier School of the Bible. During her Senior year at Frontier, she served on a staff position at Calvary Memorial Evangelical Free Church as the Youth Coordinator where her love for ministry deepened.
Bill and Laura were married on June 17, 2000, and have been partnering together in pastoral ministry since then. They have served four churches in Utah and Nebraska in a church revitalization role. For the last ten years they have had the privilege of ministering together at Frontier School of the Bible where Bill served as the Vice President and taught several classes.
Bill and Laura have been blessed with seven children and five of them are still in the home. Their names, in order of age, are Grace (married to Thomas Kline), Faith, Joy, Cherish, Delight, Will and Comfort.
The Bagley’s began to be burdened with the specific idea of church planting in Montpelier, ID at the beginning of 2023. They are excited to see what God will do for His glory in this community that He dearly loves!
