Short-Term Missions

Come and See

Envision exists to give first-hand experience of the mission field and to help people discern the Lord's specific leading. Two convictions shape it: every project fits within the work of church planting; and tracks are defined by purpose rather than length. The question is not “how long?” but “what is this for?”

  1. Encourage Mission Trip

    To encourage TBM missionaries while gaining brief exposure to a specific ministry context.

  2. Encounter Vision Trip

    To personally experience missions, learning firsthand from an experienced missionary.

  3. Engage Internship

    To develop ministry skills by serving in a local church plant while exploring options for the future.

  4. Entrust Apprenticeship

    To be discipled and prepared for a lifetime of church-planting ministry.

The four tracks move from encouraging those already serving, to experiencing missions, to developing skills, to being discipled for a lifetime of ministry. You choose what is right for you and, as God leads, explore His specific calling for your life and ministry.

    We have courses available that address calling, foundations of missionary life, the sending church, and raising support.

    The local church remains central throughout. Your relationship with your sending church is the foundation of future ministry.

You do not have to have everything figured out to take a next step. A two-week trip, a season of focused prayer, a careful reading of the doctrinal statement, or going through one of our courses are all real but low-commitment ways to keep pursuing God's call.
