LATEST NEWS FROM MIRCO AND PAOLA

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus!

In recent days, we’ve had several opportunities to evangelize.
A few days ago, Mirco and Elisabetta went to the village of Magnacavallo. Elisabetta went to visit the school where she will teach starting Monday, January 26th (in addition to the Sermide school). She works part-time as a support teacher and after-school teacher.

1) With her, I visited a local friend who introduced us to the homes of other acquaintances. We shared the Gospel and our testimonies. Aldo, Sergio, Vincenzo, and another person (transgender) – They listened to Elisabetta’s testimony and seemed touched. However, one of them practices witchcraft, and indeed, in their homes (and hearts) there was resistance and darkness. At the end of that meeting we decided to pray for those people!

2) We have long developed a friendly relationship with a couple who run a restaurant. We were able to give them a Christian calendar and pray for them. They were moved because no one has ever prayed for them!

3) Mirco recently passed through the village of Bergantino and heard that a grave loss had occurred: a young man he knew had committed suicide, and the funeral had just ended. The local bar was crowded with cold people coming from the cemetery. Mirco therefore entered to speak to them about Life, our Lord Jesus. Some of them were sensitive, given the recent event, and willing to listen, so Mirco spoke to them about Jesus, leaving them pamphlets and a Christian calendar.

4) Marina, the wife of the local police commander, continues to come to church and is very happy to share her baby with her.

5) Marzia, Mirco’s former boss when he was a part-time employee, will be with us on Wednesday evening, along with her husband, Andrea. Their son, Luca, appears to be engaged to a Venezuelan believer. (We’re a little perplexed because their son isn’t a believer.) Marzia and Andrea have been to evangelical churches in tourist areas twice and once with us. Marzia is a believer and loves to talk about the things of God and share the Gospel.

6) Last Sunday, Mirco was able to preach in Occhiobello, and on that occasion, a dear lady, Roberta, was baptized. We had a wonderful time. Pray for Roberta because her husband, a Catholic, accuses us of being Satanists. He’s really hostile, and she can’t invite any believers into her home.

We end here and bid you farewell in the love of the Lord.
“EVERYTHING WILL PASS ONE DAY, BUT HIS LOVE WILL LAST ETERNALLY!”
