Our Everlasting God & Creator

0CTOBER – 2025
The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isa.40:28,29 NIV)
Hi from way down south to our friends and financial helpers,
Time sure flies by these days. Have you noticed? We just entered into nice spring weather that seems to want to hang on to cold winter days. Nice to see the grass getting greener and hear the birds sing their songs. We have one little bird that returns every year. It is white and has black feathers on the wings. A beauty. I love to see them flying down below my house. They are so fascinating to watch. “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”
Since our last update we have had bouts of sicknesses. Naomi and I are getting over flu and so we were kind of slow getting around to what needed to be done. I took the flu shot and got it worse. We are so glad that Skip has not had it. Seems to be running the rounds as a number of church people also contracted it. But we are glad to be over it.
Skip has been holding his own but is getting weaker in his legs and so disoriented that it causes us concern. He still has therapy twice every week. And also has speech therapy and his speech is much better. He keeps wanting to get up, and one night he wanted to go to school.!! He is able to evangelize those who visit that are yet unsaved with help from us at times.
With our Ladies’ group we are studying about obedience and discipline about ourselves. We must obey and discipline ourselves, so we don’t put other things first in our lives. Very interesting study by Elizabeth Elliot.
We are doing crafts to be able to sell for Christmas. We all do different things: painting dishtowels, and jars. Most of our ladies are working, so our number has dwindled some. I still play the music for services and do some visitation to our sick ones and some who need to know about Jesus. Love the visitation part.
Skip and I had 65th anniversary in August.
The church here in Nazare celebrated 42 yrs in May. In our worship service on Sunday nights, we are studying about heaven in Rev.21. I often think of the song “How beautiful Heaven must be?”
I am working on a ministry among the little boys in this neighborhood. I need any ideas for crafts. I have the study material. I’m thinking of starting with the Wordless Book series.
PRAISE:
I want to Praise the Lord for our health being restored. We praise Him for prayer warriors like you.
PRAY:
FOR OUR HELPER IN THE HOUSE: She needs Jesus and her heart is so hard. Strong personality. Two grown kids giving her trouble. She has left the church. Her boys grew up in church but are walking in the world.
FOR: those we witness to-that the Spirit will convict them and they will come to Christ
FOR: Laide, Laura, Cida, those who come begging etc.
FOR: Skip that he will feel better as he has had a lot of pain in his leg recently, and is restless, especially at night.
Thank you for your prayers and financial help. We do appreciate you so much. MAY God bless you.
