ABOUT US:

Darrel was born and raised in north central Colorado. He was raised in a Christian family and part of a Bible preaching church that taught and supported missions.

When Darrel was in 10th grade his family moved to Cortez in the southwest corner of Colorado. There, Darrel was acquainted with native people and native missions. During a summer missions trip to Northern Sweden, he dedicated his life to the Lord and decided to go to Bible school. He attended Frontier School of the Bible in 1988 where he met and married Julie. They both graduated from FSB in 1992.

Julie was raised in a pastors family and grew up around missions and knew she wanted to serve the Lord from a young age. She has enjoyed her role as pastor's wife in the two previous ministries before this one. She has enjoyed teaching women and children and serving in different areas from cooking to singing.

Darrel and Julie have moved around quite a bit. Some of the places they have lived include 9 years in Utah where they ministered at Grace Bible Church in Tremonton, later they spent 7 years in Mullen, Nebraska at Sandhills Community Bible Church. After leaving there, they went back to Cortez, Colorado to help with Darrel's aging parents. After Darrel's parents passed away the Forseen's moved to LaGrange, Wyoming where Julie's mom lives. While in Wyoming, Julie spent 3 years as head of the food service department for Frontier School of the Bible. Now they have the opportunity to serve a native congregation in Alaska.

Darrel and Julie have four adult married children, and 9 grandchildren.
