Dear friends in the Lord,
This past weekend was very busy here at the Franzini home and at the church in Borgofranco.
We had a couple we know come to visit and spend some time with us. The husband, Vittorio, came to "get to know Jesus." We prayed together and after explaining the need to believe in the work of salvation Jesus offers us through the cross, Vittorio confirmed that he wants to live for and in Him. Praise the Lord!
He also introduced us to his daughter, who is an archaeologist. We had a wonderful time with her.
In an inexplicable way, God is sending new souls to our small community—several foreigners, including some Brazilians and a sister from India. This brings us joy, but also a bit of apprehension, especially with the foreigners, because we know that every person brings their own cultural differences, conflicts, and many needs.
Yet God is Sovereign and able to "complete what He has begun in every soul"...
