Nathan and Allyssa are involved in the TBM Envision Program to explore missionary and pastoral life in rural America. While they gain hands-on experience in the ministry at Grace Bible Church of Parachute, CO, they will be seeking God's leading / calling for their future ministry to serve Him.
OUR MINISTRY
Nathan is doing a pastoral internship at Grace Bible Church of Parachute, CO. Nathan will be learning all the facets of pastoral ministry - declaring God’s Word, doing youth ministry, AWANA, etc. Allyssa will be involved in the church, helping with AWANA and encouraging the younger girls of the church. They state, "We are looking to encourage the Grace Bible Church Family in their walk with Christ and to share Christ with the Parachute and Battlement Mesa area as we learn and grow."
Nathan
I was born and raised in Lansing, MI. I fully trusted in Jesus as my Savior at the age of 20 while at Bible School, where I subsequently learned of the large spiritual need for Jesus everywhere. God guided me through the years at Bible School and narrowed the direction of ministry to pastoral which my wife, Allyssa, and I are exploring further now.
Allyssa
I was born and raised in Iowa. I grew up in church; and, when I was 9, I trusted in Christ as my Savior while at summer camp. I spent my summers at camp as soon as I was old enough, and through, that God started showing me the need for Christians to go and share the gospel. Because of this desire, when I graduated high school, I decided to attend Frontier School of the Bible. Through my time there, God really grew my love and desire to share the Word with others around the world. My senior year, the Lord started convicting me and opening my eyes to the fact that the need for the gospel in the States is still very much there. Then He led us here to Parachute where we have the opportunity to learn and serve under an amazing church and group of people. I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do!
