OUR MISSION:

Colby and Emma were married in the spring of 2023, while students at Frontier School of the Bible. They are now interning at the TBM Home Office under Chuck and Connie Mathias, helping with anything & everything (especially website designing) and learning about the administrative side of missions. They’re currently plugged into Sonrise church on their tech and worship team.

WHO WE ARE:

Colby: He’s hands-on mechanical, a “jack-of-all-trades”, the strategist, and a pianist.

I’ve learned a lot from my dad, a lot of maintenance and handyman work. I have all kinds of experience in construction and repair. I love working on electronics and programming. After being in Bible school for a few weeks, I was ready to do whatever God wanted me to do. I’m definitely more of a hands-on guy, and I love building stuff. I’ve had some experience counseling at Summer camp, and I help out with worship at church. I’ve known Chuck for almost 10 years, and I’m excited to do whatever I can to help him out at the home office.

Emma: She’s artsy, unique, barefoot all the time, a board game lover, the talker, and a bassist.

I was born and raised in Nebraska, into a family who worked (and still work) hard for the Lord. I had wonderful examples of imperfect people who served in their local church, in camp ministry, in our house, and after every event known to man. I and my siblings got used to staying after church and weddings to talk and clean up, and though we gripped about it, I wouldn’t take it back for the world. I went to Frontier School of the Bible right after high school and met Colby. God has opened so many doors and I’m so thankful that Jesus has the wheel because I realize just how small and sinful I am, but also how great our God is and am willing to follow where He leads.

One of our favorite verses:

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
