Coming and Going

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.  Psalm 121:8

Dear Friends and Family,

We are so sorry for staying silent for so long! We have been having a very hard time trying to get any form of communications (phone, email, etc.) up and running again, for various reasons.  We do apologize for not sending something out sooner. And although it is still a work in progress, we wanted to take the opportunity we do have, to give a brief update on our family.

All of our flights and connections went SO smoothly (probably the best we have experienced yet), and every piece of our luggage arrived to our final destination, on time, and fully accounted for (we even only experienced very minimal damage to a couple of things). We all traveled very well, without any illness or injury. And we just praise God for ALL of the great things He has done – in getting us back here!

We landed in Kenya last week and stayed for a few days in the capitol (Nairobi), to collect our paperwork. We then headed home to Kisumu, where we were welcomed back warmly by friends, who have helped us with our house while we were gone.

And for the last week we have been working on trying to get the house back in operating order: organized, put away, etc…along with the various other things that must be “activated” again (vehicle insurance, health insurance, visas, phone, etc.)

We made it back to our first Sunday service here in Kenya just yesterday, and we are just feeling very grateful to God to have friends and family ALL across the globe; who love God, and love others, and are faithfully lifting up one another in prayer. Thank you for ALL of your faithful love, prayers, and support of our family. It means SO very much to us. We will miss you, until we meet again, but we thank God for the connection we have through prayer.

Please do continue to pray for our family as it will still take some time to truly get settled/situated and back into a regular routine. So far everyone seems to be healthy and we are happy to be back in our own home.  Please let us know if there is anything we can be praying for you for as well.

Love,
the Harris family
