Amazing Openness to the Gospel
September 7, 2023 | Emmanuel and Sucheta Endigeri
Dear Friends,
Warm greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We hope this letter finds you well! We want you to know that you are constantly in our thoughts and daily prayers, and we are deeply grateful for you.
First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who supported us through the years in prayer, words of encouragement, and financial support. It is only through your gracious and kind giving that we can continue our mission of serving the Lord.
Ministry Prayer Requests:
During a recent visit to the eye clinic, I had the opportunity to distribute tracts and copies of the New Testament. Miraculously, two of the nurses I encountered prayed to receive Jesus as their personal Savior, and one of them, who comes from a Hindu background, joyfully accepted a Bible. We have been amazed by the openness to the gospel, unlike anything we have witnessed before. We ask for your prayers for Andrea, Elijah, and others who received these gospel tracts.
Additionally, we had the privilege of serving with City of God Ministries in preparing seven individuals from diverse backgrounds (including Hindu, Muslim, and Christian) for baptism. We now meet every Sunday morning for continuing discipleship. Please join us in praying for these individuals, that they may be firmly rooted and established in their faith.
As opportunities arise, I continue to preach and share the Word of God. Pray that members of the congregation would be “strong in the Lord and in the power of His might,” as it says in Ephesians 6:10.
Praise Report:
Many of you know the situation with our house in Trinidad. With the help of a lawyer, we were finally able to rectify long-standing land-issues. We are thrilled to report that the much-needed renovations are underway, and just in time. We give all glory to the Lord for this progress! The initial step involved the installation of new electrical poles. Once the poles are approved, the demolition and replacement of the dilapidated second floor with a roof deck should be done quickly. We are moving into a temporary rental and we hope to be back in our house in 4 weeks to avoid another month of rent. Please pray for the successful and timely completion of the project. Thank you for your prayers!
Once again, we want to express our deep appreciation for your friendship and partnership in our lives and on the mission field. We thank God for each of you, and may the Lord abundantly bless you and your families.
In His service,
Emmanuel and Sucheta
