Dear friends and family,
Hello from Mbale, Uganda! I was in Kenya for almost 3 months and traveled back to Uganda December 11th. I have been blessed with so many opportunities like Ndoto, Fadhili Dada, discipleship, International Women’s Bible study, and Teens’ Sunday School. I have made so many new friends while in Kenya and I was sad to leave, but I am also really excited to see my friends in Uganda.
This past month has been very full. My birthday was in November so I got the opportunity to go to Nairobi, and I got to do a little bit of sightseeing. There is a tradition here were they pour water on the birthday person, So this was definitely a birthday to remember. This month is also Thanksgiving, and I got to enjoy it with the international missionaries here. We had a potluck, and I baked a butternut squash pie. The kids here went on break after their end of year tests to see if they can move onto the next grade. So, I got to attend graduation for the kids at Ndoto.
Please be praying for me as I step back into Uganda. I already am preparing for some lessons with El Shaddai children’s home. Please be praying that the Lord provides more opportunities to see ministries that I didn’t have the last time I was in Uganda.
I want to thank you for supporting me during this internship. Time sure does fly by. I also want to thank those who have been faithfully praying for me it means so much knowing that I am in your prayers. I also want to thank you for your continued prayer and support for my time while in Kenya. Thank you for being a part of the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
