BEING THANKFUL!

“I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart, I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.” Psalm 9:1
Dear Faithful Supporters, November, 2016
With Thanksgiving just around the corner we pause to express our gratitude for God’s unfailing love and mercy.
FAMILY – Thank you for your prayers for Joyce. She passed the NCLEX exam and now she is a registered nurse. This past month she started working at West Florida Hospital on the medical surgical floor. Jason worked during the Summer at Day Camp Sunshine, in New Jersey. This Fall he started his junior year at Pensacola Christian College in the studies of business management and marketing. We would appreciate your prayers as he deals with health issues in consequence of Lyme’s disease. Pray for Jonathan, as he works towards the conclusion of 8th grade.
On June 28th Janis’ parents, Dale and Carol, ages 98 and 93, moved in with us. They are veteran missionaries which served for over 60 years in Brazil. Pray especially for Janis, as she helps care for her parents.
HOUSE OF HOPE – We praise God for the opportunities He gives us to share His Word at the Rehabilitation Home. Our hearts are heavy when we are not able to receive all the women who seek help. A special thank you, to all who have contributed with your prayers and gifts, making a difference in the lives of these women for God’s glory!
CHURCH – The new church building is being used Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday morning and evening. Every 1st Sunday of the month we have a special time, from 9am to 9pm, where we gather for worship, food, and fellowship. Every Saturday, we have a special program for children. It is encouraging to see families from the neighborhood showing up at our evening service on Sunday.
E-mail – For those interested, we would like to make our prayer letter available by e-mail. We would appreciate if you can send your e-mail address to us at pjalencar@hotmail.com
We thank God for you who are reading this letter and for your part in our lives and ministry. May you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving together with those you love.
With Grateful Hearts,
Paulo, Janis and Jonathan Alencar.
