Exciting Family News!

Dear Praying Friends,

Blessed New Year to all of you from Tarapoto!!!  We have exciting family news this year.  Wedding bells are ringing and smiles are singing.  Marcos Fowler and Allyson Higgins plan to marry on April 3rd just south of Dallas, Texas.  I guess Marcos spending most of the year in the Dallas area paid wonderful dividends.  Actually, they both graduated from Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, WY in August with a major in Missions.  They aren’t the only ones excited.

Lucas also spent time in the Dallas area when not in LaGrange.  He plans to go back tomorrow and classes should start on Monday January 11.  He is now in his second year and doing very well.  Sarah plans to join him for a year starting in August Lord willing.  We never know for sure anymore with different restrictions everywhere.  Jennifer had a year of school at home and we plan for that to happen again this year.  Her school year starts at the end of March and finishes up the middle of December.  She is on summer break right now, actually spending hours reading and knitting.  She still has at least three years of school left and will be 15 in April.

We are trying to figure out how to have church as a whole body together.  The rules eliminate the kids under 15 years of age and more advanced people of 64 years of age and up.  This breaks up families and makes things complicated along with all the precautions.  So far, we have had live Facebook sermons but are planning to meet together at the end of January, Lord willing.  If anyone would be interested Delwin has also preached almost the whole book of Joshua on Facebook on his page in English.  We are allowing the neighborhood kids to come in once a week to hear a Bible story and learn a Bible verse.

The youth also meet regularly at the house and we are thankful that church is in the house.  It has been a real blessing this past year and will be in 2021 as well!  Even though ministry events change and things have been a bit complicated, God is still working in and through us.  Thank you for your part in faithfully praying and giving throughout the year and allowing ministry to continue.  Please continue to pray for our family, ministry and the construction of the house so our current house can be the church building full time.

Have a very great day and a blessed and fruitful year,

Delwin & Techy Fowler

Marcos & Allyson
