Faithfulness Is Encouraging

Dear Family and Friends,

Hope all of you are doing well despite the continued restrictions of COVID-19. With daily cases continuing to rise in Italy we fear new restrictions may be put in place for late Fall and Winter. We hope that is not the case because we have enjoyed the freedom of movement that we have experienced since mid-May. Yet, despite the restrictions we are struck by the faithfulness of those who love the Lord and seek to serve Him. Since the onset of the coronavirus we have been encouraged, and, I hope, been an encouragement to some of God’s faithful people. Men and women who are truly servants of the Lord.

I’m reminded of Psalm 101:6 which says, “My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a blameless way is the one who will minister to me.” What a great encouragement for all of us who serve the Lord faithfully. Just knowing that God’s eyes are upon us as we minister to one another keeps us going virus or no virus. Praise be to the Lord for that!

Below, in our attached prayer letter, we have highlighted just a few of the ones who serve faithfully with us here in Aviano, Italy. These individuals were faithful to step up to keep our ministry going during our trip to the States this summer to visit our children and grandchildren. We ask your prayers for them and ourselves as we continue to reach others for Christ and help them grow in spiritual maturity.

May our Lord bless you richly as you continue to look to Him for all things.
