God’s Creation A Comfort
March 31, 2020 | Skip and Betty Harkins
Hi everyone,
My! what a month this has been. We are stopped for two weeks now and don’t when they will lift the ban. The order is stay home. So, we are staying home.
I am so very thankful for the view from my backyard and kitchen window. I think of the verse in Psalm 121:1-5, “I will look unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, the maker of heaven and Earth….”
Church services and other gatherings are out for now. So, we are worshiping online with mighty fine pastors and listening to good music on Youtube. We miss the fellow brethren but this should pass soon. All activities for Ladies and adolescents and visiting this year have been put on hold till further notice.
Our granddaughter, Beca, and daughter have been here with us. So thankful as she is a huge help to me with Skip. Her husband, Eric, is in the States because his dad is dying of Pancreatic cancer. He is weaker by the day.
Skip fell and hurt his back a couple weeks ago and has had some pain with movements. Just a minute I left him to get a chair to put his feet up on the back porch and here I guess he tripped on his foot. But he is gradually getting better. Dr. Humberto came by to see him and said it would be painful for a while, to just keep taking pain medicine. But his movements are getting much better. S o, thank the Lord for that.
Thank you all for your prayers and financial help and we do pray for all of you daily. So glad for all you faithful prayer warriors. May God keep you and your families safe out there.
Take care; “I don’t know about tomorrow but I know who holds the future and I know who holds my hand.”
In Him,
