New Interns To Help In Peru

July 19, 2021 | Delwin and Techy Fowler

Good afternoon!  Thank you for your faithful prayers for Tarapoto and all of Peru.  Well, officially they haven’t said that the communist candidate won the election but he got the most votes.  The presidential inauguration is scheduled for July 28 but we aren’t sure who it will be.

Techy’s dad is daily getting more strength and eating much more and sleeping better too.  It seems as though he has been sick for two months but he appears to be recovering well now.  Praise the Lord!  Thanks for your prayers on his behalf as well.

The church is still barely making it due to all the regulations but we have started a high school group. It’s exciting to help these younger youth.  Some from the youth group are helping with the younger kids’ group at three and then they have their own group meeting at five.  We still meet behind closed doors and many keep their masks on the entire time.

We are getting more help from another Frontier School of the Bible intern.  We are excited for Josh and Charity to arrive with their one year old on July 29.  The extra help in preaching and discipling the youth will be much appreciated.  Also, our son Marcos is planning a visit in August with his wife, Allyson, to celebrate their new marriage here with the church.

Thanks again for your continued prayers and your faithful financial support to allow us to serve the Lord here in Tarapoto, San Martin, Peru.

Have a great day and God bless,

Delwin & Techy Fowler
