Sixty Years on the Field!

Do not fear for I am with you. Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Greetings from Brazil,

The Lord has been good to us for which we are so thankful.

Our end of the year 2022 was full of year end activities and blessings. Our daughter came for a visit in September and went home early October. She had come for a short visit before beginning a new job.

In the first week of October, Skips leg gave out on him and he fell on top of me. No injuries to him but poor me. ha! Anyway, the job did not
pan out so she came back to Brazil to help us for three months. Skip continues to be weak in his legs and we need to stay near for fear he
will fall again. We are using the wheelchair more now. He just had his yearly exams and most came back alright.

His speech continues to improve, and I am keeping up with his daily exercises. Our therapist has leave of absence because of pregnancy so
I am doing as well as I can as I look for another to take her place for a while. It is a hassle and keeps me going all morning, but we are making
out o.k.

My health continues to be o.k. what with diabetes and blood pressure issues but I am able to keep going. Glad I can be up and around to
help. I still am leading the ladies’ ministry and doing the music and helping in the Sunday School and wherever I am needed. I am preparing
some special music for Easter service. Would love to be more active. I do witness to those who come to my door.

Our church is doing well, and we have some special events planned for the coming year. We want to dwell on the events that will strengthen the
church members and also emphasis on evangelism.

On Feb 15th we have been in Brazil 60 years. God has been faithful to us. We are so grateful for your faithful prayers and financial aid all these years. Some of you have been with us all these years. Thank you for your faithfulness and love for us and our ministry. We love you and pray for you daily. What a privilege to pray for you and see God working in your lives.

Please be in prayer for our health issues. Pray for the country of Brazil in political turmoil at the moment. Pray for Skip’s health and strength in his legs.

May God bless all of you and May you all have a successful year in the Lord.

PS – 04-16-2023 update – Skip has not been able to walk. His leg buckles under him. We use the wheelchair all the time now. Naomi is here to help for a time.
