Now the Lord of peace Himself be your peace at all times and in every way, the Lord be with all of you. II Thessalonians 3:16

Hi everyone.
Just a note to let you know how things are going down here.

We have had a good year even with all the ups and downs. God has been so faithful to meet all our needs. It has been a year of learning and drawing closer to our Lord.

Skip has had good days and bad days. His legs just won’t hold him up anymore and so he uses the wheelchair constantly. He has had a number of urine infections and had to take antibiotics. He is not doing well with the heat in the high 80’s and 90’s and the promise is to get higher as the summer approaches. His diet is mostly liquid now as his grinders have grinded down. He does therapy twice a week and fono also. He does fairly well but some days he’d rather not. Continue to pray for him.

Our ladies’ group, “Women in Action,” had a good year studying about contentment in our daily lives. We have finished this year and will reconvene in February 24.

Our Sunday attendance for children has gone down. The leaders of the church have moved our activities to the evening. Most parents are not letting their children come as they do not want kids out after dark. I hope we can remedy this situation next year.

Our pastor is reaching out to our neighbors inviting them over for coffee and getting to know them better. We have three new members this year. two by acclamation and one by baptism.  Beautiful testimonies. Pray for them to grow in the Lord.

Other Prayer Requests:
Pray for pastor and leaders as they lead the church and make decisions.

Pray for the church as a whole to grow spiritually.

Pray for the country of Brazil.

We are so thankful that all three of our kids could visit us as we celebrated our 63rd Wedding Anniversary on Aug 13 this year.

We are so thankful for your prayers and financial support this year. May God bless all.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
