Hi there dear praying friends,

HEALTH PROBLEMS:

The past few weeks have been a real challenge. After Mirco had preached at a funeral during the Christmas holidays and we had gone to the cemetery he started to have problems with his heart. The weather was extremely cold and foggy and after the next couple of days he had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room. He has been doing a lot of check up on his health. Then he got intestinal flu right after, and then we both came down with chest flu!! Now that the weather is starting to warm up, we are doing much better, PTL!!

PERIOD OF MOURNING:

Last year was a year when many Christians and friends died, and we were continually at funeral’s and also visiting mourning families to console and pray for them.

NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNING:

This year is turning around with our granddaughter Giulia Rose (Gionatan and Hannah’s second child) birth at the end of January. Also, we have been able to buy a house for a really cheap price. (where we have been living for the past four years has been rental). Now we are in the stage or fixing it up, which is a challenge but also stimulating. We also had a couple from our church called Pietro and Lorena, who after much thought have asked for baptism. We are hoping that others will join them, as we have three others who are not yet members of the local church.

ONE DAY CONFERENCE ON THE 1ST OF MAY:

We are organizing a day of fellowship with four other churches in our area. The theme will revolve around the book of Jonah and how we are reacting to a world dying without Jesus. All churches will participate in sharing short messages, worship and also an AGAPE meal together

PASTOR’S NATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE:

Mirco has been asked to be one of the main speakers at the Pastor’s conference this May. The subject will be on “In the World, but not of the World”.

OUR VISIT TO THE STATES THIS SUMMER:

We are also preparing the church for the time we will be in the States from June through to the beginning of August, where we are looking forward to seeing many of you. If you would like us to spend some time with you, please contact us by email or through messenger.

LOCAL CHURCH OF BORGOFRANCO:

The new church council is going quite well with four other men at Mirco’s side.
Many men in the church are continuing to take turns to prepare Bible Studies and Sermons. About 6 or 7 of them are involved in this.
As for the worship team where Paola is involved, they are up to 8 members now. (Four instrumentalists and four singers). Our goal is to get as many members of the church involved in serving the local church as possible.

EVANGELISM:

We continue to evangelize the lost in our area every time we have the opportunity, sharing a word of testimony and giving out Gospels and Christian books. We also continue to entertain friends and needy people in our home.
