Tis The Camping Season!

July 15, 2022 | Delwin and Techy Fowler

Hello from Tarapoto!!  How are you doing?  Trust you are happy in Jesus and living in victory!

“…and the men of Judah were victorious because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers.”  2 Chronicles 13:18

This verse came along in my daily Bible reading and it really encouraged me to always focus on relying on God in everything.  This summer we especially need everyone else to help us as well.

July 16-17 – Family Camp: The first time we’ve ever done this.  The whole church is really excited, and they have invited unsaved family as well.

July 23-24 – Youth Bible Conference:  A ministry team is coming from Plano Bible Chapel, the church Marcos and Allison serve in Dallas, for eleven days to help in the Community Bible Church of Tarapoto.

July 28-30 – Youth Camp in Sauce:  Sauce is a resort town and the camp will be along a lake.

We also have Lucas and his girlfriend, Taylor, here for a month.  We are already having a blast and they have only been here two days.  In addition, we need to move into our new house so we can remodel our current house for the church building.  This isn’t going quite as fast as we anticipated.

Joseph Randolph, a young student from the U of Wyoming is staying with us for the summer as well.  He has helped out with many different things, and it has been encouraging for the church his desire to witness nearly daily.  He has many ideas to help us out.

Thank you for helping us in ministry as you pray and help us rely on the Lord for victory!!

Have a great day and God bless,

Hello again, (July 18 update) we had a great family camp.  You can look at some pictures on the church facebook page: Comunidad Biblica de Tarapoto/Community Bible Church of Tarapoto

We are very thankful for the whole weekend and the 39 people who were there.  It was a campground along a big lake – laguna Azul (Blue Lagoon) and it was very beautiful and nice weather too, the whole time.

Thanks for praying for us.  Now  on to the next activity:  the youth conference on Saturday and Sunday the 23rd & 24th.  The mission group from Texas gets in on Thursday.  Marcos & Allison are not able to come as Allison is too far along in her pregnancy.  The due date is around August 9th.

Thanks so much for your continued prayers!!

Have a great day and God bless,
