Wintertime in Brazil

Dear Prayer Warriors and Financial Helpers,

It is wintertime for us here. It has come with a blast.

We are doing fairly well out this way. Skip continues with his exercise therapy. Lately he has complained of much more pain. His legs are really weak. We just take it one day at a time.

The church just celebrated its 43rd Anniversary. We have received four new members this quarter.

We still do not have a children’s ministry. Pastor says we should wait for more kids. Pray he will accept the fact that children are important. We are getting more men coming. We are singing more hymns, which we like. We have a good group of Prayer warriors praying for our neighbors. Some are beginning to show interest.

We had a good group at our Sunrise Easter Service.

Our ladies have started a new year. We will complete the study on ‘Obedience’ this year. We have not gone to regional meetings for lack of transportation.

Naomi and I have been witnessing to a man who comes selling his wares. He listens and I believe he is on the verge of accepting the Lord. His name is Louis.

Our prayer requests:
– Skip and my health needs
– the ones we have been witnessing to every time we meet
– our church that we might ALL draw close to God
