This summer has held some of our hardest days and some of our sweetest, often within the very same week. We've grieved the loss of Jonathan's dad, Delton, more deeply than words can capture, and yet we've watched God carry us through it with a comfort we didn't know we needed until we needed it.
Summer Club was such a gift to us this year. We got to just teach and administrate for once, while our church family stepped in to lead games, teach the missions story, and cook meal after meal for everyone. After years of stretching ourselves thin to cover every part of club ourselves, watching this ministry get carried by so many willing hands was a blessing!
Camp at Cedar Mountain was harder than we expected. We'd planned to be there with Delton this year, and being back without him brought up all kinds of bittersweet memories of the years he served there so faithfully. But even in that ache, we've seen God open doors for gospel conversations we never would have had otherwise.
We'd love for you to read the whole letter. There are photos from Summer Club, more of our story from this season, and specific things we're asking you to pray with us about. Thank you for walking through this with us.
