MISSION:
It is my mission to be able to love and encourage the people of Africa by sharing about the saving grace of Jesus Christ found in the gospel. It is my desire to be able to bring glory to the Lord and to shine His light in the dark places. I hope to be able to teach and disciple while making lasting friendships.  I have come to know that this life is not my own and I that I have to live by faith wherever the Lord sends me. I want to encourage the African people to do the same.  As I come alongside the women of Kenya and teach and disciple them it is my prayer that they will be equipped to teach and disciple others so when the church is ready they will be able to go and plant a new Kenyan church.

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

BIOGRAPHY:
I grew up in a small town in Nebraska…in a non-Christian home. I grew up my whole life not really knowing who God is. I did believe there was a God and if I was a good person I would get to heaven, but that is where my knowledge of Him stopped. I was saved at the age of 30 and my life has never been the same sense. About 1 1/2 after I was saved, the Lord gave me the opportunity to go to Kenya, Africa and stay with my brother, Brad and Ellie Harris. The Lord used that trip to stir my heart for foreign missions, and it has been my desire to go back to Kenya from the moment I left. In order to be better equipped to serve and to grow closer to the Lord, I attended Frontier School of the Bible. Graduating in 2016, the Lord blessed me again with another great opportunity to return to Africa. Joining with Tentmakers Bible Mission as a part-time missionary in their STEP Program provided me an opportunity to go back to Kenya for a period of 6 months to work alongside Brad and Ellie again to serve the African people. Convinced that I am to be a missionary in Africa, I became a full-time missionary with TBM in 2017. After about a year and half of traveling and sharing with people and churches about what the Lord had put on my heart and was calling me back to Kenya for, I am now back in Kenya.

The Lord has given me a heart for and a calling to teach the women: a clear gospel, an overview of the Bible, some basic doctrine/theology, Christian principals as how to walk the Christian life, and how to be godly women. All along the way, I hope they will learn to teach others who will then teach others (II Timothy 2:2).
